Ruth Cavanagh

Responsibility

Ruth is responsible for managing all aspects of lending at Main Street Bank, including both commercial and retail. She works to ensure that all aspects of the lending process are streamlined, and that our customers receive outstanding service and the loan products that meet their needs.

History

Ruth is a “Career Banker,” holding various roles throughout multiple financial institutions, and giving her insight into multiple departments and how they all connect. She started as a part time Teller during College and worked her way up to Branch Manager. From there, she transitioned to managing bank-owned real estate. After that, Ruth served as a Commercial Loan Administrator, then Commercial Loan Officer, and most recently as Senior Loan Officer.

Membership

Ruth serves on the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, Inc. Finance Committee and the Community Investment Leadership Team at the United Way of North Central Mass. She is a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce, the Worcester Economic Club, and the Oak Hill Country Club.
