Jeff Stewart

Responsibility

Jeff and his team work closely with our commercial clients to support their treasury/cash management needs. Providing premier client service and expertise, particularly with onboarding and implementation, Jeff and his team assist clients with cash flow management, payment processing, collections, liquidity management, and risk management. Jeff prides himself on delivering a high-quality relationship experience to our valued clients.

History

Jeff has been in banking for over 20 years. Most recently, as First Vice President, Treasury Management at Cambridge Trust Company (acquired by Eastern Bank in July 2024), Jeff oversaw their Corporate Treasury Management department including Treasury sales, implementation, training, and client support. During his time at Cambridge Trust, Jeff led the treasury management integration of 3 bank mergers, various system upgrades and contributed to a significant growth of the bank’s top commercial client portfolio. Prior to Cambridge Trust, Jeff worked at Wellesley Bank, Needham Bank and Citizens Bank in similar roles.

Jeff is a graduate of Suffolk University (BS, Business Management) in Boston and is a graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies.

Membership

Jeff is an active member of the community. He recently joined the Board of Directors for the Friends of Children and Families in Framingham and currently serves as Treasurer. He is an active member of Edwards Church UCC and serves in a leadership capacity.

Fun Fact

Jeff is an avid runner and has run numerous marathons and half marathons to help raise money for local nonprofit organizations. In his free time, you can find him cheering on his sons from the soccer field sidelines.
