Kevin Horgan

History

Kevin is a lifelong resident of Ayer. He began his professional career as an accountant until he purchased his family’s heating oil business in 1995. Kevin expanded his company’s operation through organic growth and acquisition. Ayer Oil Company became a well-known and respected member of the local business community.

In 2018, Ayer Oil Company was acquired by Energy North Group, one of the largest retail fuel suppliers in New England. Kevin currently manages the north central Massachusetts division of Energy North Group.

Membership

Kevin serves as a member of Ayer’s Industrial Development Finance Authority (IDFA).

Former Chairman of the Board, Kevin now sits on the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association (MEMA) and also served on the board of the New England Fuel Institute (NEFI).

A member of the bank’s Board of Directors, Kevin sits on the Audit/Risk and the Investment/ALCO committees.

Fun Fact

Kevin and his wife Laurie live in Ayer and have raised three children into adulthood. They enjoy golf, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and traveling with family and friends.
