Wire transfers are a safe way to move money between accounts held at different financial institutions with different accounts owners. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you only send and accept wire transfers from people or companies you know and trust.
Receiving Wire Transfers
Main Street Bank accepts incoming domestic and international wire transfers. Incoming wire transfers are only processed on business days (Monday through Friday), and do not include federal holidays. There is a fee to receive an incoming wire transfer to your Main Street Bank account. Outgoing wire transfers are only processed on business days (Monday through Friday), and do not include federal holidays. Information Needed for Sending Wire Transfers
For Main Street Bank to send funds by wire transfer from your Main Street Bank account, you must obtain the receiving bank’s incoming wire transfer information before we send the funds. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide Main Street Bank with complete and accurate information to process an outgoing wire transfer.
