Main Street Bank offers the ability to send and receive wire transfers between accounts. Wire transfers are a safe way to move money between accounts held at different financial institutions with different accounts owners. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you only send and accept wire transfers from people or companies you know and trust.

Receiving Wire Transfers

Main Street Bank accepts incoming domestic and international wire transfers. Incoming wire transfers are only processed on business days (Monday through Friday), and do not include federal holidays. There is a fee to receive an incoming wire transfer to your Main Street Bank account. Incoming domestic wire transfer instructions should include the following information:

Main Street Bank will send outgoing domestic (inside the United States) wire transfers for consumer accounts, and both domestic and international wire transfers for business accounts. Outgoing wire transfers are only processed on business days (Monday through Friday), and do not include federal holidays. There is a fee to send an outgoing wire transfer from your Main Street Bank account. Information Needed for Sending Wire Transfers

For Main Street Bank to send funds by wire transfer from your Main Street Bank account, you must obtain the receiving bank’s incoming wire transfer information before we send the funds. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide Main Street Bank with complete and accurate information to process an outgoing wire transfer.
